The West Indies Cricket Association has announced the inaugural Women’s Caribbean Premier League in 2022, with cricket fans hailing it as an exciting display of skill, strategy and sportsmanship.
Women’s cricket also continues to grow in popularity and participation, promoting gender equality and recognition in cricket, which is growing globally. The anticipated WCPL 2024 will enhance the level of cricketing enthusiasm with a total of seven games. The expanded schedule provides fans and players with a more enthusiastic and comprehensive event experience.

Barbados Royals defeated Guyana Amazon Warriors in the 2023 WCPL finals to claim the 2023 Women’s Caribbean Premier League Championship.
Barbados captain Hayley Matthews named ‘Man of the Match’
Mathews said her team played well in the 2023 cricket tournament and felt the win was redemption for her team after a loss to the TKR women’s team in 2022.
